Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Goes Official, First Phablet With 3GB of RAM
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 had been unveiled by the Head of Samsung Mobile JK Shin at the Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 2 in Germany. Galaxy Note 3 is the third generation Samsung Galaxy Note , and comes with a more compact design but the overall size still similar like the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes with a 5.7-inch super AMOLED display with full HD 1080p resolution. Basically, the display resolution is a standard for most of the flagships in the market.
The Galaxy Note 3 is powered by 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor or the 1.9GHz Exynos 5410 octa-core processor. The models will depend on markets where the American market will get the Snapdragon 800 model. The 3GB of RAM in Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the highest of all Android devices in the market. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the first Smartphone / phablet with 3GB of RAM. Samsung has done it again with another title.
For the camera, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has the 13-megapixel camera that similar to the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the front-facing camera is an 1.9-megapixel shooter. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 supports 4K video recording as well. It shows that Samsung doesn’t upgrade anything from the camera aspect. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is not an ideal device for those interested in camera smartphone.

The Note 3 has a thickness of 8.3mm and weights at 168g. Samsung has done it again as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is an ultra-thin device. Samsung also confirmed that the Galaxy Note 3 is the first device with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Samsung remains as the leader in Android software development. The battery of the Note is 3,200mAh capacity battery.
There are two versions of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 – HSPA+ and LTE. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 LTE is powered by Snapdragon 800 while the Samsung Galaxy Note is powered by Exynos 5 Octa.
Samsung will roll out the Galaxy Note 3 starts from 25 September which is about 20 days from now. It will arrive in more than 140 countries around the world. Basically, the device will arrive in stores in the beginning of October.
